Newton Ks Too Far Or Just Right To Play Hard?

Now that I’ve gotten my car kit I keep wondering if Newton, Ks RC Pitstop & Raceway is too far to drive to play with it. There’s nothing else that I would be interested in doing while I’m there.

It takes me about forty minutes to get there. That’s for sure what I think about when considering going there Tuesdays for practice at 5:00 pm. Then I would probably stay for an hour and have to drive back home for another 40 minutes. So I would probably get home between 7:30 and 8:00 pm.

I was just thinking about why I’m interested in these kit cars. I don’t believe it has anything to do with racing, to be honest. The aspect of racing doesn’t excite me. Maybe it truly is about if I can put together a car and get it to work well. I need to get these kits together soon; if I don’t, I don’t think I’ll actually use them.
