Mini Z Is A Blast Inside Ask The Dog

Mini Z

Mini Z is an interesting little car; I had one show up Saturday. It’s a pretty small car not sure of what I expected. The intention was to have it run on a carpet/turf flat track built in my backyard.

Not much racing can be done on turf with one of these cars; it could barely move. This little ride could barely turn or get up to speed. At that moment I almost gave up from disappointment. In one last attempt with nothing to lose, I ran it on a smooth piece of concrete; things got really interesting.

A really smooth surface will wake this little Mini Z car right up. With it being so hot the last couple of days I decided to take it inside. The kitchen in my home has linoleum and that was enough to turn this car into a beast. Now, my dog doesn’t like the car at all, there was lots of running and barking.

Kyosho makes these little cars, there are a couple of different models. I was able to pick up a Mercedes AMG on Amazon. It wasn’t my first choice but that’s the only one I could find there that I liked. After purchasing the Mercedes on eBay there were a couple of C8 Corvettes listed. That would have been my first choice but bodies are available for purchase separately.

In perspective, this car is about the size of a 1/32 slot car. I’m always looking for things to keep me busy so that’s why I made the investment. Not sure if these cars will hold value like slot cars but it’s something to think about.
