Eager buyer and a motivated seller creates a great win

eager buyer

When there’s an eager buyer that’s when the best deals get made. Of course you need to have a seller who wants to truly sell his toy car. Whether it’s a slot car or RC car the transaction rules are always the same.

What usually stalls any transaction such as an eBay auction is when there’s a reserve. I can tell you personally that when a reserve is put on anything I don’t even waste my time with it.

Another thing that I see that stalls the transaction is if there’s a “Buy It Now” that’s way more than the car is worth. The seller has played with the car and is trying to get more out of the car from when it was new. Definitely doesn’t build confidence in a buyer to trust this seller.

Sellers who try to trick buyers with inflated shipping are probably the worst. It’s clear they are trying to make a profit on over charging for shipping but then it makes the car out of reach on price.

No one wins in these situations.

There’s a couple of sellers that seem to be fair in their transactions and I always look to them first. I recommend you do the same thing when looking to purchase cars. Create a list of sellers that you trust and always start with them first. You’ll always know what you are going to get from them, so you won’t be disappointed.

An eager buyer who is presented with a fair deal isn’t really trying to haggle. These types of old school car sales tactics are really in the past. When it comes down to it, no one wants to feel ripped off.
