Green is pretty special when it comes to a Lamborghini. This is one beautiful car; it should be at the top of any collector’s collection.
You don’t have to pick one slot car brand over another to get the best quality Lambo. The manufacturers are pretty close in their quality when it comes to this gem. I will point out one or two differences so you get an idea though.
The details are amazing of how close these cars are to the real thing. A favorite part is being able to see the engine thru the back window. If you go with the Carrera Toy version you’ll have a driver inside that looks pretty cool.
Scalextric (Hornby Hobbies) has the benefit of what they call DPR (Digital Plug Ready). This is a chip that easily screws and unscrews into the bottom of the car to make it digital within minutes.
If you consider adding a Lambo to your collection watch out for the mirrors. They tend to easily be broken off during use if the car rolls over; like below. Another thing to watch out for are wings, they are really easy to fall off as well.
If you like green, make sure to take a look at the pink Lambo by Carrera as well. I can’t get enough of these cars, every chance that I get I’ll purchase one. In my mind there’s nothing more beautiful than these cars.
It can be a little hard to find these cars, the manufacturers only make so many of them. It is possible to find them used like how I found this one. As you can see, something may be missing or someone has modified it. Make sure to take your time and look at the details before buying it.
