Midwest pricing on Porsche Taycans is what I believe to be one of the best. Tracking these cars since last year there’s a range of pricing. Using sites like Carmax and Carvana I’ve been able to get a really good picture. I’ve also been able to figure out that some local dealerships by cars from Carvana and put them on their lots. Yeah, I’ve looked at a lot of cars to be able to tell when one car made it from one lot to another.
I’ve had multiple initial strategies over this time period. The first was to order a car from Caravan and have it shipped to my house. There’s no Carvana stores where I’m located. I decided against that route because the interest rate on their cars was too much for me.
Another strategy that I’ve been thinking about is getting one from Carmax and have it shipped to my local facility. For the right vehicle I can see myself doing this. There are a lot of Taycan in the Florida, California and New Jersey areas. It’s so strange that there aren’t really any in the Kansas area. I did see one make it to Kansas City, but I’m assuming someone shipped it from another location and reserved it.
With all of that being said, when there is a car locally in the Midwest it appears to be a lot cheaper. But also, in this area they aren’t willing to negotiate much with you on the price.
