Are you not comfortable going with the EV Taycan? A good alternative would be the Porsche Panamera. It’s a similar design, but you can see a subtle difference if you compare them side by side.
Price-wise, you are in a similar ballpark as the Taycan. If you’ve read this blog enough, you know that pre-owned is where I would like you to focus. The Panamera has been around way longer, so you can find them as far back as 2010. I don’t recommend going back that far looking for one. To find a decent one that is technically still current, do a 2018. If your budget allows, the 2019 seems a little better inside, and the rear lights were updated.
Remember, these cars are still Porsches, even though they are sedans. Anything new will set you back six figures, so I recommend going the used route. The cars require maintenance to be kept up. Make sure you budget to make any type of repairs.
This car can be a little overwhelming when you see it for the first time. It’s a pretty big car, even though it doesn’t look like it in pictures. Once you get inside, you’ll instantly know what true luxury feels like. The handling of the car will make you forget about the size.
