RC car scammers are all over Facebook, so you need to be careful. Only interact with people that you know or your friends know directly.
Don’t send any money to someone that you don’t know. I learned that the hard way, I lost $300. It was a painful lesson and looking back I should have known the deal was too good to be true. I was trying to purchase a 1/5 gas RC car and had been looking for one for months.
These guys are good, they post pictures of cars that aren’t theirs. They create a sense of urgency so you will transfer the money really quickly.
