The servo horn is included when you purchase a new servo; I didn’t know that. I had never purchased a servo because my experience was only with Traxxas RC cars. Those cars are completely built when you purchase them.
So I was a little surprised when I opened my servo package last night from Reedy. It comes with the servo horn and a couple of other additional parts. I didn’t have much time to start working on it but I’m ready to get going on it hopefully tomorrow.
Don’t spend extra money buying parts that you may not need. Truly do your research to see if a new part may have the needed components to install it.
I don’t know what the default servo horn teeth are in the package. The one I purchased separately is twenty-five teeth so it will be interesting to see if it’s the same one or a different one.
