Traxxas Nitro Slash is one of the things that I’m excited to get to this winter. I purchased everything over a year ago to put my project car together. As usual, life happens and you never get around to working on these types of projects.
The project itself is what they call a slider, it didn’t come with anything but the frame and the shocks. I don’t even think this one had any type of ESC or receiver but I can’t remember since it’s been so long.
I’ll have to go through and try to figure out everything that I’ve purchased. I can tell you I have a motor, which I believe is the 3.3, and a new carburetor. I’m pretty good at these Traxxas Nitro cars but I bet that I’m a little rusty. It will take me a minute to get back to my old level of troubleshooting but it shouldn’t take long.
When I get going on the project I’ll take some new pictures and create an additional post to this one. Hopefully, I can get started this weekend at least trying to get the engine in. I just remembered that I purchased some new orange wheels and tires to match the body.
If you don’t know anything about the Traxxas Nitro Slash it’s a two-wheel drive racing truck. I’m thinking that it’s 1/10 or 1/8 scale but I’m not 100% sure. I call it the little brother to the Slayer, check out my Slayer project from a couple of years ago.
