I watched carpet racing last Tuesday at RC Pitstop & Raceway, I don’t think that I’m a racer. Being there to see others’ races was more enjoyable. Really didn’t have the feeling or excitement to get out there myself.
Maybe my thoughts will change at some point, but I’m more casual. The competitive drive wasn’t there for me. Tuesdays are meant for practice so I thought it would be more laid back.
Looking for something that’s more just fun, my job is pretty intense so I don’t want anything serious after I leave there. But, the guys who were at the track were very friendly.
Writing about these cars and the experiences they provide is my happy place. My love for remote control cars is what drives me to collect them. Sometimes there’s guilt for owning so many but it makes me happy.
