Now is the time to get excited about owning a Porsche Taycan. While the auto manufacturers and sellers may get a little antsy, this is good for you as a buyer. This is the first time that I’ve seen a Porsche lose value so quickly. No one knows when the pricing will level out, but this creates a great buying opportunity.
Timing is everything, whether trying to make money or looking for a deal. In most cases, it’s luck. I’m not sure when something like this will happen again. It’s a Porsche that no one is interested in at the moment. How often can you say that?
The only reason no one likes this car is that it’s electric. If it weren’t electric, people would put their bias aside. I believe that once people decide to accept electric cars, the Taycan will be just as valuable as the 911. Something to remember is that it’s a car that most YouTubers who test drive it say, “It drives like a Porsche”.
The Taycan is even more special because it’s a four-door sports car. No matter how grand a 911 is, it can never seat more than two people. So, the Taycan can only compete with a Macan, Cayenne, or Panamera. I’m making an assumption that a Taycan buyer isn’t looking to buy a Macan or Cayenne. They want the high-performance drive like a 911 to get excited but at a lower price point. Which only leaves the Panamera.
