Traxxas is a good car for anyone who doesn’t want to invest a ton of money. There’s a variety of cars to choose from that are both off-road and on-road. You can choose from electric or nitro as well.
Traxxas allows you to afford multiple cars if interested. The parts aren’t the most durable but that allows anyone to experience these cars without going broke. Car parts are readily available and there are diagrams explaining how to repair each car model.
I would recommend Traxxas cars to anyone. I own plenty of these cars both electric and nitro. My beginnings were in the Rustler model but now my favorite is the Slayer. It rides like a true off-road race truck.
I’ve purchased both ready-to-run and worked on my own projects rebuilding these cars. It’s really simple to work on these cars. If you are just starting out go for a ready-to-run. Wait until you get some experience and then try to build your own project. I like to work on these during the winter when I’m stuck indoors.
