Colorado truly was a blast to experience something different. There are beautiful mountains but they are a little high for me. Hiking the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs probably was the most fun that I’ve had in a while. The dear would be right along the trail and not really afraid of people.
Made the way into Denver and stayed downtown. Definitely unique to see so many people living in the area. I don’t have a lot of experience with trains as transportation living in Kansas. I thought the train system was cool to see even though I didn’t ride it.
I’m a big Denver Broncos fan, but didn’t have any intent of going to a game. Nothing was planned, at the last minute we decided to go after seeing all the people walking around in jerseys. We were able to walk from our hotel downtown to Empire Field at Mile High stadium with no issues. The stadium is truly wonderful and the fans were not annoying like in some places.
