The plan was to use all the same components in both cars, but I already see a problem. There are some engine differences because of the classes the cars run in. The RC10B74 has a 13.5 motor and the RC10B6 has a 17.5.
When thinking about this stuff in general I always feel like I have it figured out but when the work starts something always goes wrong – LOL.
What I’m figuring out is you can try to budget all you want. It truly doesn’t mean you won’t come across something you didn’t know. The thing that I’m somewhat worried about is the wheels that I ordered for the RC10B74. I wasn’t 100% sure if I found the correct ones or not. I went ahead and ordered them but I will also need to find the tires since they didn’t come with any. Wish me luck with that.
The used RC10B6 that I ordered from eBay showed up yesterday. I’ll try to unpack it this evening or tomorrow and take some pictures. I’m still waiting for the RC10B74, it should show up sometime next week.
