When researching the cost of these kits it almost turned me off from buying one. There’s truly a difference between an RC car for play and one for racing.
Cars made for play are mostly made of plastic. Due to the plastic, it’s way easier to break the parts. If you even think about jumping a hill there’s a good chance it is going to break.
Racing kits are the opposite a lot of the parts are metal including the chassis. These cars can handle jumps but also go a long distance.
The configuration option is another benefit of this high-quality kit. You decide where certain items fit in the frame such as the ESC, receiver, and transponder. Decide to have a cooling fan or not for the engine; if not it’s not a big deal.
