Fantastic Spektrum DX5C Radio To Analyze, and Produce No Limits

SR2100 Radio

I purchased a Spektrum DX5C radio in 2021 for my Losi 5ive-T. When I purchased it I knew nothing about how it worked and I still don’t. I’ve never used the radio if you can believe that. If you are wondering, I still haven’t used the Losi 5ive-T either.

I’m going to use the radio for the cars that I’ll be using for RC Carpet Racing. I spent some time reading the manual and it seems to be a pretty capable radio. The one that I purchased I believe it was a return or refurbished. It has an SR6100AT receiver but I won’t be using it. In both cars, I’ll be going with the SR2100 since they don’t have antennas.

My only complaint so far is that I wish they would make the manual easier to read. I’m not an engineer so I don’t want it to read so dry and detailed. Just tell me how to run the system easily and straight to the point, but that’s just me being judgy I guess.

What I’m truly excited about is the ability to have the radio programmed to multiple cars. I’ll be running this radio on both the RC10B74.1, RC10B6.2, and with my Losi 5ive-T.

I didn’t capture the price of this radio in my budget spreadsheet because I don’t remember how much it cost. It was a purchase that I got off eBay so it was definitely cheaper than a new one. It’s been sitting on a shelf since November 2021 so I hope everything works.
