After reading the instruction manual a couple of times I realized that these kits would be great for teaching kids STEM. For sure if you are interested in some type of engineering these cars would teach how parts are designed and connected together.
I remember being in computer classes that would have you disassemble an entire computer and put it back together. Teaching you what each component was meant to do. These RC kits would be the same concept, and for sure would take kids a couple of weeks to do. I know this would be a reach for the current curriculum because most schools wouldn’t have the budget for it.
I’m not an engineering type of person, I’m more on the technology side. Even though I don’t completely understand ESC devices they fascinate me with how advanced they are becoming. A teacher could teach a basic electrical class using these devices.
If someone is already doing this in their school I would love to hear about it. Leave a comment on this post and let me know how your school uses these fundamentals.
