Walking daily seems so simple to do; thus why can’t we do it? No excuses, get out and start walking. High blood pressure is no joke. Never thought I would be faced with having to deal with it myself.
Still trying to get the medicine figured out after a year. It’s starting to slowly get better. Today wasn’t perfect but way better than it’s ever been 116/81. Proud of myself because it’s headed in the right direction.
Proud to say I use a Garmin blood pressure monitor. Before purchasing the monitor I would never consistently take my blood pressure. It was more of a nuisance, in addition, I wouldn’t remember to write it down.
Technology changes everything, it’s created to make your life easier. Garmin’s monitor records your blood pressure and sends it to the app on your phone. Now when I’m talking to the nurse I can easily look up what my measurements were on any specific day.
So it’s 1:52 pm and I’ve already walked 12,434 steps. Walking now is just something that I do; it’s part of my everyday life.
