Ford GT40 is very popular at the moment; so you may have some trouble buying one. This car has almost doubled in price on auction listings. Now whether bidders are actually purchasing the car is a different story.
Multiple auctions seem to have no bidders, which I don’t blame them. I started really looking into the GT40 in June with the intent to add them to my collection. Bids are starting around $70 with shipping higher than $10. That’s a hard price to swallow.
I don’t intend on selling any of my cars anytime soon. I’m in it for the long haul but I don’t want to be upside down on a purchase. They are beautiful cars with a pristine racing history. If you can get a good deal on one of these cars it’s a good time to buy. If you can’t find a good deal, hold and wait for the prices to go down.
Look for these cars at an estate or garage sale. If you can pick them up fairly cheap you will surely make a profit on eBay.
